Ultrasound: Gallbladder

This exam utilizes high frequency ultrasound waves to look for gallstones, thickening of gallbladder wall(which can have many causes), size of the bile ducts(if enlarged can indicate a stone or mass blocking the duct), or adjacent problems of the liver or kidney that may act like gallbladder disease.
